Autumn Supper,  Saturday 8 October,  6.30 pm for 7 pm

If you were unable to attend our Afternoon Tea last months, I hope you will be free to come to our Autumn Supper on Saturday 10 October in the Amersham Free Church Hall (at the junction of Sycamore Road and Woodside Road, Amersham).  The cost per person for this informal two course buffet supper, a glass of wine or soft drink and coffee/tea is £12.  Payment beforehand would be appreciated, either by cash, cheque or bank transfer to the Association’s Bank of Scotland Account (Sort code 12-20-29, Account No. 00243018).  If using the latter method of payment please let me know when you make the transfer.

The committee provide the catering for this supper so please let me know, no later than Wednesday 5 October, if you plan to attend.  Please feel free to bring any of your Scottish friends who may be interested in joining the Association (qualification for membership is by birth, marriage or descent) – they will be given a good Scottish welcome.

Our Scottish Country Dancing evenings have already started (8 pm on Wednesdays)  All are welcome to these sessions.  No experience of Scottish country dancing is required (although it does help if you know your left hand from your right!) as most of our dances are relatively easy and are walked through thoroughly prior to dancing.  We are a friendly group who enjoy our dancing but don’t take it too seriously.
