Saturday 12 August 2017

Members met up outside the Swan Pub in Ley Hill on 12 August to take part in an enjoyable circular walk and a convivial pub lunch.  The walk was ably led by Andrew Clark, who guided us through woodland paths and open countryside with magnificent views, pointing out places of local interest as we walked.  We heard about traditional brick-making in Ley Hill and of more recent issues concerning the use of local bridle-paths.  After a good walk, we sat down to a well-deserved lunch.

Kind regards John
