Welcome to Amersham & District Scottish Association.
The Association exists to maintain interest and celebrate Scottish traditions, the donation of money to Scottish and local charities as well as social and friendly contact among the members. For more than 70 years the Association has brought the many scots and their friends in the Amersham area, into social contact at Burns Dinners, St Andrew Dinner Dances, Ceilidhs, Golf Days and many other Scottish flavoured events, including a weekly Scottish Country Dancing group. If you have any comments on the structure or the development of the content please send us a message through the contact us page.

In January 1946, a group of expat Scots residing in the Amersham area, got together and to brighten up the immediate post war period they held a Burns Supper.
Scottish Dancing classes are held on most Wednesday evenings at Amersham Free Church. They start at 8.00pm and finish around 10.00pm with a break for refreshments.
Each year The Amersham & District Scottish Association donates funds to both local and Scottish charities. Generally in the ratio of 60% to local and 40% to Scottish charities.
